Security of Wang-Li Threshold Signature Scheme
نویسنده
چکیده
In 2003, Wang et al.[1] proposed a (t, n) threshold signature scheme without a trusted party based on the discrete logarithm problem. In this paper, according to [5]’s attacking method, we show that there are still some security leaks in that scheme, and give some methods of forgery attack. Moreover, we point out this scheme is vulnerable to universal forgery by an insider attacker under reasonable assumptions.

On the Security of the Li-Hwang-Lee-Tsai Threshold Group Signature Scheme
A (t, n) threshold group signature scheme is a generalization of group signature, in which only t or more members from a given group with n members can represent the group to generate signatures anonymously and the identities of signers of a signature can be revealed in case of dispute later In this paper, we first present a definition of threshold group signatures, and propose several requirem...
متن کاملOn the Security of Two Threshold Signature Schemes with Traceable Signers
A (t, n) threshold signature scheme allows t or more group members to generate signatures on behalf of a group with n members, while any t−1 or less members cannot do the same thing. In 2001, based on a variant of ElGamal digital signature scheme, Li et al. proposed two (t, n) threshold signature schemes with traceable signers. One of their schemes needs the assistance of a mutually trusted cen...
متن کاملAn ECC-Based Mutual Authentication Scheme with One Time Signature (OTS) in Advanced Metering Infrastructure
Advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) is a key part of the smart grid; thus, one of the most important concerns is to offer a secure mutual authentication. This study focuses on communication between a smart meter and a server on the utility side. Hence, a mutual authentication mechanism in AMI is presented based on the elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and one time signature (OTS) consists o...
متن کاملAn efficient blind signature scheme based on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem
Elliptic Curve Cryptosystems (ECC) have recently received significant attention by researchers due to their high performance such as low computational cost and small key size. In this paper a novel untraceable blind signature scheme is presented. Since the security of proposed method is based on difficulty of solving discrete logarithm over an elliptic curve, performance of the proposed scheme ...
متن کاملIdentity-based Threshold Signature Secure in the Standard Model
Recently, design of Identity-based (ID-based) threshold signature schemes which are efficient and provably secure in the standard model has drawn great concerns. In this paper, an ID-based threshold signature scheme based on Paterson and Schuldt’s signature scheme is presented. The proposed construction is proved secure in the standard model and its security rests on the hardness of the computa...
